About Me
I have a passion for music and helping others unlock their true voice and utmost performance potential. I first fell in love with singing at the age of twelve and I have been performing ever since.
Music has gotten me through some of my most difficult times in life and I am passionate about spreading the creative potential of this art form with my students. I believe that music can be a powerful tool towards momentous joy, relaxation, purpose, and stress relief.
I enjoy spending time with my students working on proper breath support, vocal production, vocal control, pitch correction, musicality, and undoing tension. I also emphasize theatrical and performance techniques in my lessons. I aim to make sure my students understand what they are singing and aim to communicate. I also prioritize that my students are expressing their songs in a joyful, artistic, theatrical, and creative way!
I have a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from Oakland University, where I graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2025. I have been teaching voice, acting, piano, and voice acting since 2022. I tutored the courses Diction for Singers and Music History at Oakland University from 2023-2025. I have been a paid soprano/soloist at All Saints’ Episcopal Church since 2022. I have been a performer in many ensembles and workshops at Oakland University — styles include opera, jazz, and musical theater. I also have sung lead musical theater and opera roles. I have performed in several operas at Oakland University and Opera de Metro. Some professional highlights include Despina in Cosí fan tutte, The Dew Fairy in Hansel and Gretel, Madame Herz in The Impresario, and Ophelia in Shakespeare's Hamlet. I also toured in 2025 as a choral performer with “The Oakland Chorale” throughout Germany, Austria, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic.
